Counselors

Center For Creative Arts offers 2 School (Guidance) Counselors and 1 College Advisor/Counselor.

School counselors are vital members of the education team. They help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today’s students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.    The counselor is the one person who sees the entire picture of your child’s high school career and who can bring all that information together.   The counselor helps your child plan a challenging course schedule and determine how to best achieve educational goals. The counselor provides information on which tests to take, which colleges are a good fit and how to get on the right track for the careers that interest your child.

Our College Advisor (Counselor) is employed part-time so please see office hours listed below.  The role of the College Advisor is to assist with college search information and college match sites.  Regarding financial aid, resources/links can be provided for scholarship opportunities, loans, and work study information.  The primary way of communicating with students and families is Naviance.  Useful resources and very important announcements from the College Advisor will be sent out via Naviance.  Sign up can be done by email our College Advisor.
