Dinner and the Arts


On January, 26, 2017, we will hold our Eighth Annual Dinner and the Arts fundraiser.  This night will feature live music and performances from CCA students, a silent and live auction, as well as a gourmet meal. 100% of the funds raised at our annual gala will be used to support artistic and academic programs at CCA.

There are numerous ways for you to participate:


Tickets to attend the 2017 Dinner and the Arts go on sale today.  The tickets prices are $25 each through December 16, 2016.  Starting December 17, 2016, the ticket prices are $35 each.  The tickets are available for purchase in the office and may be purchased with cash or a check made payable to CCA or online here. We hope you will consider inviting relatives, friends and co-workers to join you.

We also have tables of six available for $145 prior to December 16 and $150 starting December 17, 2016. Additional persons can be added at $25 before December 16 and $35 starting December 17th.  Please contact Dawn Schierschmidt at 423-209-5929 or schierschmidt_d@hcde.org if you want to purchase a table for the 2017 Dinner and the Arts.

Silent and Live Auction Donations

We are requesting donations for our silent and live auctions.  This can be in the form of a gift certificate, an item, service or experience.  A donation of $30 for services or gift certificates will be eligible for three credit volunteer hours with a maximum of 3 hours allowed per family.  This form can  be used to help you solicit items. CCA is a government entity, not-for-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.  If you need this form via email or customized for a specific purpose, please contact Dawn Schierschmidt at 423-209-5929 or schierschmidt_d@hcde.org.

We hope to have our auction items confirmed and in place by January 13, 2017.

  •  6th grade – Cuddle up with a Book
  • 7th grade – Movie Night
  • 8th grade – Family Night Out
  • 9th grade – Snow Day
  • 10th grade – Midnight/Late Night Out
  • 11th grade – Pamper Me
  • 12th grade – Rest/Relaxation


Local Corporate or Business Sponsorships

If your employer has a foundation or funds available for sponsorship for local education and arts programs, please let us know.  We have solicitation letters available and we are more than happy to help make the “ask”. Sponsorships include tickets to the event, advertisement and many other benefits.
