Film and Photo

Course work in the fundamentals of SLR cameras, shutters, exposure meters, enlargers, lenses, filters, and lighting. Artists will gain experience with developing in a dark room, close-up photography, special techniques and effects including digital manipulation. Historical survey of photographic imagery and artists. Special topics will include issues n digital imagery and film. Students must have a 35mm SLR camera (Grades 9-12 majors or non-majors by permission * access to a 35mm SLR camera) $40.00 studio fee.
